Thanksgiving in Augusta
My brother and sister-in-law have been hosting Thanksgiving for the past few years, and this year was no different. Chris was working in the ED on Thanksgiving, which is also no different than the past 3 years.
As we were driving on the interstate, of course we stopped at a Hardee's in the middle of nowhere, and of COURSE there was a woman in the parking lot riding horses with her daughter. They had ridden to Hardee's for a quick lunch before roasting their turkey. Worked out great for us because Michael got to ride his first horse!
I don't know who that girl is, but she taught Michael all about horses and let him pet one.
Then onward to Augusta! There was a great crowd of people there, but no one had the presence of mind to take a photo of the whole group, or of the awesome spread my sis-in-law created. We did get some snapshots though.

Michael had a lot of exploring to do. This is him running headfirst into the lake.

Nope....made it! Now Michaels' King of the Mountain!
And even though Daddy couldn't make it to Thanksgiving, I had to include this picture because it is so adorable.

We went to Vidalia for a few days over Thanksgiving, and Michael's friend Gabby came to visit. They had a great time, but were totally not into photographs, as you can see.
Michael finally gave up on the whole thing.
Gabby did not find his antics entertaining.
So Michael thought he better come make her laugh.

Fall Photos
I'm afraid I'm playing catch-up with the blogging. There has been no shortage of adorable-ness over the past 2 months. Here's a hodgepodge from November.

We went to the Christmas Tree Festival, but we did not wait in line to see Santa. Mostly just played around.
There was a pretty cool little play kitchen set up. I think he's trying to put the phone in the microwave.
This must've been a fascinating conversation.

Meanwhile, his friend Ella enjoys a soda pop.
There weren't quite enough Cheerio's to go around.
